Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachan Mobbed

Aishwarya Rai recently went on a trip to her newly done sea-facing bungalow 'Naivaidya'. The four-storied, pristine white structure, which stands not too far away from bungalow 'Ashirwad', was recently completed and the Bachchan bahu was keen on having a dekko.
) So the other day, Abhishek drove her down to their new abode and Ash seemed very pleased with the way things turned out. After doing a thorough run-through of their house, the couple decided to have a high tea together to celebrate. And since their sea-facing view is to die for, they brought out chairs on their first floor balcony and were sipping on their tea. But very soon, they were spotted by a group of bystanders and a huge crowd gathered outside their bungalow and began calling out to the Bachchan couple. Abhiash initially indulged them, by waving out, but as the crowd started growing they disappeared behind the curtains and before anyone could figure it out, they vamoosed through the back entrance.
If the Bachchans are looking for some peace and quiet, they aren't finding it here for sure. But at least their behavior won them fans with the traffic department unlike Salman, who lives down the road, and puts up a show in his balcony for the onlookers, creating traffic jams.
How could it be that  Aishwarya Rai not visit the ailing Mani Ratnam in hospital. He's the man who launched her acting career.
Both Ash and  have a high regard for Ratnam. He's the director who has extracted the best performances from Abhishek so far - in films Yuva and Guru. And Ash has shared an almost familial relation with Ratnam ever since she made her acting debut in Mani's film 'Iruvar' in 1997.
So recently when Ratnam was hospitalized, both Ash and Abhi were obviously concerned about the director's health. Ash, who was shooting Shankar's film Robot in Hyderabad, reportedly took a day off from work and flew to Chennai to spend a day with Ratnam at the hospital.
She was by Ratnam's side for many hours and took a flight back to Hyderabad at night because she had to resume the shoot of 'Robot' the next morning.
Abhi were to resume the shooting of Ratnam's film Ravana from April 20 but the schedule has been delayed due to Ratnam's poor health. Due to the delay, the couple also decided to take a break and went off to an undisclosed location to mark their second wedding anniversary on April 20.
